Paris-Roubaix can claim almost as many nicknames as it can victims, but the moniker 'A Sunday in Hell' rings truest for most competitors of this cobbled Classic. It's the pavé which makes Paris-Roubaix such a compelling spectacle and provides the race with an undeniable reputation. The infamous sections of cobbles making this French Classic a run-the-gauntlet-style war of attrition characterised by physical torture, catastrophic crashes and mechanical mishaps. Held in early April, the weather, too, can play a massive factor with riders rendered barely recognisable after 250 punishing, high speed kilometres of slippery mud strewn granite.
The Classics are races in which only the brave succeed. Thrilling one-day behemoths. Spectacles as much for what happens off the bike as on it. Passionate crowds turn up in their droves to drink beer, eat frites and devour the exciting exploits of the most daring cyclists.
We are paying homage to our favourite Spring Classics with a set of three special edition Euro Collection unisex jerseys. Each jersey pays fitting tribute to one of the following incredible one-day races – Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix and Strade Bianchi.
The ultimate mid-weight, the Euro Collection jersey is built on the 190gsm warp-knit Chronoman fabric by Sitip Spa. Chronoman creates a perfect environment of thermal protection to the cool morning wind, with evaporation channels to allow unrestricted cooling as the body heats up. The sleeve has been moulded using Cene Squared, another warp-knit fabric that has a beautiful texture and soft hand feel.
