Italy can lay claim to any number of honours when it comes to The Worlds, most notably the first-ever Road Race victory in 1927 won by Alfredo Binda. But our favourite is the flamboyant Mario Cipollini. In 2002, – the Lion King – won the World Champs in Belgium, he was arrested for motorpacing on an Italian autostrada – noting it was the only place where he could safely get up to top speed for training. God love, Super Mario.
To celebrate the pinnacle race of the year, we are releasing a very special edition of own pinnacle women's collection – WMN. Garments designed and created by women, utilising technology and fabrics that are specific for women. September is when the best come out to play. So we are bringing out our best.
An open-cell knit structure provides almost unrestricted evaporative cooling. This is a fabric specifically designed for regions where sweat is highest. Added Sun Protect treatment.

Though Italy can boast many Worlds successes, including a clean sweep of the podium in the first-ever World Championship Road Race, it is Mario Cipollini and his many nicknames that inspired the design of this Azzurri crest. Cipo has more monikers than he does victories on his palmares or notches on his bedpost. But it was Il Re Leone, the Lion King, that captured us and gave fruition to the Crown.
